Our 6 day Venetian Plaster Applicator Class is the total package! Each student leaves with 32 samples in over 20 different plasters. You get the 14 DVDs plus national marketing to promote you as an applicator. We share with you what has worked for us, including actual pricing for all of the plasters and a business plan to help you market yourself. This is a proven plan that we successfully have used ourselves for years. You will be able to practice along with the DVDs to perfect your technique.

Advanced Class: Plasters with a Twist
Finally a new class to update your portfolio! We will be using some of your favorite Safra products in new, fresh ways. We all have a lot of great samples for that Old World look but what about your more contemporary client? Included in this two day class are some more modern finishes and colors. We will also be embellishing some of our boards with stencils, Swarovski crystals, and real leaves. Products we will use are: Veneziano, Calcenova, Metallo, Fiorentino, Marmorino, and Rasa Calce. Leave with 8 new sellable finishes and a renewed sense of creativity.

Modern Classics
This is a great 3-day class for those applicators that are looking for some fresh colors and a few simplified
versions of our top selling finishes. I've taken some of our most popular products and made them simpler to apply
with less steps and less product. You can sell the finish for less money and make a higher profit all at the same
time! In addition, I've researched some of the new up-and-coming color trends. According to top interior design
and decorating publications, the colors that all your clients will be asking for (if they're not already!) are
golden yellow, peacock blue, warm red, gray-blue, and chocolate brown. We'll be using some of these colors to
freshen up some classic finishes to give them more modern appeal. This would also be a great Intro to Safra class
for those of you looking for a better plaster. Once you try our products, you'll be hooked! You won't believe how
easy it is to get beautiful results. Leave with 12 samples including one stencil-embellished board. Products we
will use are: Veneziano, Calcenova, Fiorentino, Marmorino, Travertino, Coccio Bronzo, Stucco Romano, Fresco, and
the new Metallo.

Rustic Elegance
Learn finishes that are perfectly suited to today's most popular decorating style: Rustic Elegance. These textured finishes are rough but refined.In this class you will learn three traditional lime plasters (updated for a more simplified application) along with two variations on these plasters plus one cellulose plaster that has sound absorption qualities (great for media rooms!) and two Italian brushed finishes. Take home 8 completed sample boards.

Apprentice Workshop: Real Job Experience
The location for the Apprenticeship Workshop 2009 has finally been chosen with all of the finishes selected by the client! All tools and materials will be provided for use during the workshop. The course includes instruction and real job experience. You will take home a sample board of each of the finishes. Remember to bring a camera so that you can photograph the finished spaces for your portfolio and website!
We will be finishing just over 1000 square feet of the new Textured Marmorino finish featured in the
Advanced Class. Safra Marmorino is a very fine 100% lime plaster that will carbonize and turn
into actual stone. We are troweling it in a non-traditional manner: It is basically a smooth finish with slight texture
that gives it a more Contemporary look. It is burnished to a beautiful satin finish.
The second finish is Rasa Calce with Embedded Leaves. We will be applying 750 square feet of this finish which is another
100% lime plaster.
We are also doing the Elegant Fresco finish from the advanced class. The set of trowels is also included in this price.
Bonus Finishes will be implemented depending on the number of students attending the Workshop. These include: Veneziano (walls and ceiling), Fiorentino, and Metallo. Three rooms of faux finishes could be included as well: Lusterstone and Wallteriors Hand-Painted Paper applied in a cut-diamond pattern.

We had so many people asking for more dates for the Apprenticeship Workshop that we decided to split things up and give more students the opportunity to learn some new finishes and practice those finishes in a real home. Choose any or all! We've got finishes from my Advanced Safra Plaster Class (Textured Marmorino, Rasa Calce with Embedded Leaves, Elegant Fresco), finishes from the Safra Portfolio Builder Class (Veneziano, Fiorentino), Vahallan Paper, and Faux Effects Lusterstone. We'll meet at the studio and do a sample board of the finish(es) and then on to the job site to work on the walls!
